This Saturday we will explore gentle mindfulness tools that help us slow down and pay closer attention while we walk among the plants and trees. By simplifying our words and thoughts, we create more mental space to notice sensations, patterns, and subtle impressions we might usually miss. These tools support clearer presence, deeper listening, and more natural communication with the living landscape around us, allowing insight and intuition to grow in a calm, grounded way.
We will walk in nature. Be prompt! We leave the trail head right at 9AM.
Get some exercise, Open your heart and meet new friends.
Learn to take mindfulness in nature to a new level.
We will start the walk with a short (5 mins.) Tai Chi meditation. As we walk I will point out plants, herbs, and wildlife along the way. (This includes mushrooms as there are a few left.)
Halfway through the walk (2.5 miles) We will stop for a short gratitude meditation.
We will learn how to connect with trees and plants.
