This is The End

Details

Metropolitan Walkers is part of the Ramblers, Britain's walking charity. All welcome for 3 'taster' walks, after which please join the Ramblers - info on the Met Walkers website

It's now 15 years since legendary nightclub The End closed it's doors for the last time. Exactly a year prior to that closing night, Turnmills announced they were closing for good. Just over 3 weeks prior to that London's biggest nightclub Bagleys (or Canvas as it was later known) closed it's doors for the last time.

What would the clubbers now do with their time? Going walking of course! This walk takes us between the sites of these former clubs to see what became of them. We will end at the Gas Station, a pub on the site of a former BP Petrol Station where many ravers would go after a night at Bagleys.

Optional: Please join us in the pub at the end of the walk for a drink and a chat.
