Banstead Woods to Carshalton (8 miles/Leisurely)

A leisurely Bank Holiday walk from Kingswood station to Carshalton via Banstead Woods, catching a last glimpse of the Bluebells.

Please bring a packed lunch. Pub stop at the end, which will be The Hope.

Travel: Take the 09:55 from London Bridge (or East Croydon at 10:12). Change at Purley (arr. 10:17, dep. 10:44) arr. Kingswood 11:01.

Use Oyster / contactless.

Journey planner offers a later train from London Bridge (dep 10:12) with a tighter connection, but you take this at your own risk.

Grading: Leisurely.
