London is now a sprawling city of 607 sq miles; however, tonight we'll step back in time to the 0.5 sq miles Roman city of Londinium! We are charged with carrying out a perimeter check of the Roman wall, built in the 2nd century to fortify our bustling commercial centre from marauding Celts and Saxon pirates. En route, we will stop by the Fort to pick up supplies and see the place where chariots from the ends of the empire gather. Please report to Centurion Rayus at the hour of VII where the Blackfriars do meet at the Tamesis North Bank. Loyal Roman citizens may seek refreshment inside the city wall after completion of the perimeter.
