Meopham to Sole Street - via Cobham Mausoleum (10.3 miles/Moderate)

Metropolitan Walkers is part of the Ramblers, Britain's walking charity. All welcome for 3 'taster' walks, after which please join the Ramblers - info on the Met Walkers website

Walk to Jeskyns Community Woodland where there will be a stop for tea/coffee - card payments only here. (Just over 3 miles from start point).

Then a walk through Cobham Village and onto Cobham Mausoleum where we will have a picnic lunch. (Just under 7 miles from start point).

Walk then goes via Henley Street where there will be a pub stop for drinks only. (Just under 9.5 miles from start point). This is a popular pub which has been used by many walk leaders in the Metropolitan Walkers over many years. Then a short walk to Sole Street Station to finish.

Please bring a packed lunch.

Travel: Take 9:37 from London Cannon Street (9:41 London Bridge), arr. 10:11 Meopham.

Buy return ticket to Sole Street.

Meet outside front entrance of Meopham Railway Station.
