Hilly, reasonably faced paced walk covering a lesser walked section of the South Downs Way. The walk along the South Downs Way gives great views of the wider area as well as the coastline. On leaving the National Trail, we'll descend into Seaford where the last mile will be along the seafront.
Lunch stop during the walk. Please bring packed lunch. If it is a warm and hot day, please bring plenty of water as well as snacks.
Pub stop at the end and or fish and chips/ drinks on the beach.
Travel: Take 8:54 from London Waterloo (Clapham Junction 9:01; East Croydon 9:10), arr. Lewes 9:56.
Buy return Seaford.
Please exit the station using the barriers on the platform on which the train arrives. There might well be other groups, so please make sure you stand with the Metropolitan walking group. Please also stand away from the barriers to allow other passengers to exit the station. Walk start time 10:05.
