Metropolitan Walkers is part of the Ramblers, Britain's walking charity. All welcome for 3 'taster' walks, after which please join the Ramblers - info on the Met Walkers website

Leaving Dunstable Town Centre we will head onto Totternhoe Nature Reserve and Castle Hill before heading onto Dunstable Downs. We will also pass by Whipsnade Tree Cathedral and The Golden Valley. Pub stop en route. Canalside pub at the end if it's sunny.

Please bring a packed lunch.

Travel: Take 9:21 from London St Pancras, arr. Luton 9:56. Buy a single to Luton and a single back from Berkhamsted to London. Meet the walk leader by the station entrance at Luton before boarding a bus to Dunstable Town Centre (Asda bus stop) along the Busway; these run every 7 mins. The walk will start once we are off the bus.

Grading: Strenuous.
