A pretty walk in the High Weald AONB. Pub stop at lunchtime for drinks only. Pub at end. Bring a packed lunch.

Terrain: Hills and woods

Travel: Take 10:20 from London St Pancras International (10:35 London Bridge, 10:49 East Croydon), arr. Balcombe 11:16.

Buy return to Balcombe. A single from East Grinstead to East Croydon is required for the return journey.

Grading: Moderate.
