A fast paced and reasonably hilly walk along both sides of the Greensand Ridge south east of Sevenoaks, and passing the National Trust sites of Ightham Mote, Old Soar Manor (which is open and free to look around), One Tree Hill and, of course, Knole. Plenty of stunning views along the way. Total Ascent 700 metres.
Bring a packed lunch. Lunch stop will be at the green at the village of Dunks Green where there is also a pub for drinks only. A good few pubs to choose from at the end in Sevenoaks town centre.
Travel: Take 9:59 from London Charing Cross (10:02 Waterloo East, 10:08 London Bridge), arr. 10:31 Sevenoaks.
Buy return to Sevenoaks.

A walk taking in some of the sandstone rock formations in the High Weald, and passing through undulating woodland and field landscapes. We will also hopefully see some displays of bluebells still in flower. Please bring a packed lunch. End of walk pub is in central Crowborough about 1.5 miles from station (included in total walk distance).

Expect a colourful walk through orchard Fields, bluebell woods and sweeping hills and valleys in the Kent Downs. We will make for lunch around the Moot Brewery. We will finish at a pub in the lovely village of Cobham, Station at the end is just a mile away.

A walk exploring the mid-Essex countryside, including some of the woodland surrounding Danbury and Little Baddow (hopefully with a good display of bluebells!). Lunch stop will be in Danbury itself - with a stop at a pub for drinks only. The final part of the walk will follow the Chelmer and Blackwater Navigation into Chelmsford. Pub at the end.

Evening walk at the edge of Greater London, taking in the open spaces and tree lined avenues of Nonsuch Park. We will also visit the Nonsuch Mansion gardens in the middle of the park. Pub stop at end.

A hilly South Downs route (900m ascent) starts with a trip to Wilmington Hill and the Long Man. We will stop in the lovely village of Alfriston, bring a packed lunch. After lunch we will take a hilly route through Friston Forest followed by marking today's "Eurosong" final by ascending a Lovely Horse! Pub and/or fish and chips on the beach at the end. Paddling opportunities for those who are down for that sort of thing.

A hilly walk with plenty of ups and downs through the heart of the Chilterns, passing through lots of woodland where we would expect to see bluebells in bloom. Lunch stop will be at the quaint little village of Turville. We will finish at the Mad Squirrel Brewery near High Wycombe Station.

A hilly and challenging walk with a total ascent and descent of over 1000 metres each. The first half of the walk passes along the ups and downs of the North Downs ridge and then descends into the village of Chipstead, where the lunch stop will be on the green next to the lake. Sevenoaks railway station is a stright forward 2 mile walk away from the lunch stop point, so there is the potential option to leave the walk at that point if anyone wishes to. The second half of the walk then passes along the Greensand Ridge (with plenty more ups and downs), including the National Trust site of Emmetts Garden, and then Mill Bank Wood and finishing at Sevenoaks town centre.
Bring a packed lunch. There is a pub at the lunch stop for drinks only. Apart from the pub at the lunch stop and a cafe / shop at three quarters distance (Ide Hill), there are no other facilities or shops on the route, so make sure to bring plenty of water. A good few pubs to choose from at the end.
Travel: Take 9:31 from London Charing Cross (9:34 Waterloo East, 9:40 London Bridge), arrive at Otford 10:09.
Buy a return to Sevenoaks.

Walk route leads to Delaware farm and then along the Eden Valley Walk footpath for almost the rest of the walk. We will take in the villages of Hever, Chiddingstone and Penshurst. Pub/tea room stop in Chiddingstone and a picnic lunch. Walk will end at Tonbridge Castle where there will be an option of another pub visit.
