French Creek Area PA Highlands Hike

Join us for this point to point hike on the Horse-Shoe Trail featuring William Penn State Forest, Birdsboro Waters, and the state park through lovely back woods and past ponds.
This will be a very secluded hike most of the time. We cross roads only five times, and almost the entire way will be part of the Horse-Shoe Trail.
Aside from one farm area, most the entire hike will be in the deep forests of what is known locally as the Hopewell Big Woods. Terrain is mostly just gently rolling.
Because we will be crossing no roads or areas of any concession, everyone should come prepared with all food and drinks they need for the day from the start.
