Stewart State Forest NY Loop Hike

Details
Join us for this point to point back woods hike in Stewart State Forest NY, which ties into some of the stuff we had done in our Maybrook Hike series!
We'll do the usual, about fifteen miles, and this time as a full loop so no car shuttle necessary. Anyone who wishes to carpool may meet in Washington NJ at 7.
Memorial Day Weekend is always tough to deal with when it comes to any public places, and so we try to do something that is very back woods and where hardly anyone considers posting a hike.
Stewart State Forest has an enormous trail system, weaving for more miles than we can do in a day.
For this one, we'll tie in to the historic rail lines we had followed previously, but mostly be in the woods and meadows within the state forest.
Except for the first half mile, we will not be crossing any roads but park roads all day. While we'll never be terribly far from civilization, this is going to be a very secluded and peaceful hike. Terrain is mostly just gently rolling and pretty easy.
The hike also includes a very interesting ruin.
