2025 Metrotrails Musikfest Hike / Explore

Join us for an evening of night hiking in and around Musikfest in Bethlehem, PA.

We will start at Hellertown Park and ride. Head North on the Bethlehem branch of the reading railroad, now South Bethlehem Rail Trail, and head to the South side of musicfest. We can grab food and drinks, hang for a a bit, then head North over the river to check out a cool jungle like section of abandoned CNJ rail that went up to the Peeps factory. (Shallow swim spots near the beginning and the Lehigh any time we're near in daytime). From the Peeps factory, we head west and South and end up at the North side of Musicfest, where we can eat and drink more and see some bands. Once we're finished, we can walk South on the rail trail back to the cars or Uber right from Musicfest.

Meet at Hellertown NJDOT park and ride, off Silvex Road in Hellertown.

About 10 miles, mostly flat, dogs are permitted at Musikfest. Bring a headlamp and swimming attire.
