O&W Railroad Hike

Join us for this roughly 15 mile hike tracing as closely as possible to the New York, Ontario, and Western Railroad between Summitville and a point near Fallsburg, where we meet on River Road/Joseph Road along the Neversink River.
After meeting at this trailhead near the big bend in the road, we'll shuttle with as few vehicles as possible to the start.
Much of the hike will be on the official O&W Rail Trail, but there is a parallel back road section we must follow for several miles. It is mostly a small back road with no lines in it, close to the right of way, so it should be pretty pleasant.
At the very start, we may also have to follow a portion of the parallel Delaware and Hudson Canal towpath where the right of way is inaccessible. Some of the group may choose to walk that but I will have the stroller and as such, must walk the clearer route.
Along the way, we pass through villages of Mountain Dale and Woodridge where we can buy more stuff, after halfway point.
