Fun dog event alert, friends! We've been invited to join Canine Connect: in Color, hosted by We met in Miami and Royal Vet! Here's the info:

Your favorite plus-one has four legs. Bring them along for coloring and connection.

Our dogs may be our best friends, but there’s always room for more.

Canine Connect: In Color is a dog-friendly afternoon designed to help adults 21+ meet new people — because having a dog by your side is a great icebreaker.

Meet fellow dog lovers through speed friending. Then grab some colored pencils and keep the conversation going over dog-themed coloring pages.

Artistic talent not required. Your dog will be impressed either way.

We Met in Miami and Royal Vet are partnering for this free experience designed to foster meaningful connection and community for dogs and their people.
Stop by Royal Vet’s booth for free pup cups, goodie bags, and a fun activity for your dog, and Equipaws Pet Services booth for a special treat for your pups!

Want to color your own pup? For a donation, we’ll create a custom coloring page based on your favorite photo of your dog. We’ll have it printed and waiting for you at the event.

At We Met events, we wear wristbands that show others who we are and what we’re looking for (choose one, two or all three):

Here’s what to expect:

3 p.m. Arrival: Check in, choose your wristbands and make your name tag. Grab a beer or some food and start mingling.
3:30 p.m. Opening: We’ll begin with some opening introductions and an icebreaker.
3:45 p.m. Speed friending: Meet new people while rotating through short, timed conversations with dog-themed prompts.
4:45 p.m. Pups in color: Spend quality time in random small groups while coloring dog-themed pages.
5:30 p.m. Group photo: Let’s capture the moment! Mingle with your new connections.
6 p.m. Event end time: Meet someone cool? Drop your Connection Card in the Matchbox. If you match, we’ll help you reconnect.

We Met Community Connection is a nonprofit creating spaces for adults 21+ to find love, friendship, and community through shared interests and values. Thousands of attendees have participated in curated, facilitated experiences designed to spark meaningful connections since 2024. Now with two chapters: We Met in Miami and We Met in Broward.
