Boulder County Farmers Market - Field Trip
Details
Let's go to the Boulder County Farmers Market and see what local culinary gems appear there!
Located in the heart of Downtown Boulder, the Boulder County Farmers Market is a community institution serving fresh, healthy, and locally-sourced food. It features over 40 vendors, including an outdoor Food Court with picnic tables.
Two parking lots behind the market off of 14th Street (in between Arapahoe and Canyon) are free during market hours. If full, all City of Boulder parking garages are free on Saturdays; and the closest is at 14th and Walnut. If you park at Boulder High off of Arapahoe, athletic boosters there will charge you, so you may want to avoid that lot. Sometimes, I GPS the Dushanbe Teahouse when I visit the Market, as it is on 13th Street - right in the thick of this event. Street parking also is available in the area.
We'll meet in front of the Tacos del Norte booth in the Food Court. You may want to arrive early to make sure you can get to this area by 9:30. Introductions will be made, nametags will be distributed, we will break into small groups, and then we're off to visit the vendor booths! At 11:30, we will return to our initial meeting place and enjoy local food and refreshments from the Food Court.
This is an outdoor event. Dress accordingly. You may want to bring a shopping bag or two for any goodies that you acquire.
