Miami Moviegoers, grab your popcorn, and let’s go to the movies! This group is designed to connect cinema lovers in the South Florida area and to advocate for the theater experience. If you want to join, it’s simple: all you have to do is buy your ticket ahead of time and show up. And perhaps purchase some concessions when you’re there! Also, we often plan pre or post screening events where we can hang out and talk about everything film.

Miami Moviegoers, let's go to the movies!
We are teaming up with Hexed Miami to bring you a 25th-anniversary screening of Hedwig and the Angry Inch, featuring live performances by Ursa Arcuna and Madonovan and hosted by Day from Hexed Miami! This glam rock movie experience is taking place at Las Rosas and will also include interactive features to immerse the viewer in the film, and the first 50 people who sign up will receive gift bags including props to make use of during the film.
This event is taking place on Sunday, August 23rd. Doors will open at 6 PM for a social hour before the film. Popcorn and themed cocktails will be available for sale. Starting at 7:30 PM, we will begin the show. The program will begin with a costume contest, so make sure to come dressed to impress! The rest of the show will feature the film Hedwig and the Angry Inch, a live music performance by Ursa Arcuna, a drag performance by Madonovan, and so much more!

Prose, Poetry, and Popcorn: Shakespeare in Love at the Library!
Coral Gables Branch Library, 3443 Segovia St., Coral Gables, FL, USMiami Moviegoers, let’s go to the library! We are partnering with Miami Poetry Club for a screening of Shakespeare in Love featuring poetry, popcorn, and prose!
This screening is taking place on September 5th. The doors will open at 3:00 PM. This event will feature live readings, media based on his works, and other surprises. This gathering is totally and completely FREE; however, you must register using THIS link.
