I'm Pedro de los Rios, also known as the "Grandfather of Bachata in Miami." I took a hiatus from this group during the COVID-19 pandemic when everything was closed. I spent several months living in Europe but returned in August 2020.
I founded Miami Sensual Bachata eight years ago, marking the inception of Sensual Bachata in Miami. From the very beginning, we attracted a large and enthusiastic crowd. In 2015, Miami had very little Bachata presence, with only a few songs played at social events, mostly consisting of old-school classics.
Today, we have a thriving Bachata community, one of the largest in the USA. We host at least four to five Bachata congresses every year, along with daily Bachata classes and events.
Our team continues to expand with more teachers, dancers, and members of our dance family joining our lessons and socials.
We eagerly anticipate seeing you soon!

Meet the 'Miami Godfather' of Sensual Bachata. Originally from Spain and one of the first Sensual Bachata teachers and promoters in Miami, Pedro brought his dance knowledge and passion to our dance-crazed city. He learned Casino Salsa from Cuban teachers in Madrid, Salsa in Line LA, and Sensual Bachata with some of the best Bachata Teachers in the world as Daniel & Desiree, Marco & Sara, Korke & Judith.. More than 10 years teaching!!
He has a strong Backround of dancing of Ballet, Jazz, Contemporaneoum, Tap...also is a Singer, Actor, Musician, Drummer and has participated in some TV Shows, Series, Movies, Commercials, Theater plays, Musicals...
He had the privilege to work one year in the same place ( AZUCAR MADRID ) with Marco Espejo ( Marco & Sara ) and Abdel ( Abdel y Leti ).
Gloria Reyes
With roots in hip hop, Gloria has been dancing Sensual Bachata in the Miami scene for over 2 years and has become a beloved and inspirational dancing figure and instructor in our community. Gloria is also trained in Salsa on 1 and ballet techniques. Like her style? Be sure to follow her @_gloriareyes to join one of her privates or classes!!
Edelmiro
With impeccable technique, Edelmiro is one of the most coveted instructors in Miami. His dancing experience was widely developed while instructing various styles of dance in Europe for 8+ years.
