Experimental Beers at BJ's

On Monday, August 17th we will be visiting BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse in Boulder. BJ's operates a dedicated 3-barrel small-batch R&D facility in Boulder, Colorado, led by R&D director Aaron Stueck. The brewery tests over 150 experimental recipes each year here before deciding which successful trials graduate to wider or national seasonal releases. For those of us living in the Boulder area, that means we get to sample Aaron's unique beers that may or may not be available later at other BJ's locations.
