Philosophers' Open Mic?

A room full of thoughtful people discussing ideas and laughing. THAT is the intent. What it will actually be? That will be arrived at collectively. There will be at least two microphones, but speaking in front of the room, while midly encouraged, will not be required. There will be live acoustic music between "talks" which I hope will cover a wide spectrum. Bring a thought that has been occupying your mind for the week, and let the hive help you arrive at a conclusion. Bring a suggestion of podcast(s) that helps keep you sane. Bring an "out there" theory to try out on your table or the room. Air some greivances (I think the parking pylons in front of bE are preposterous, unnecessary and expensive). And if the talk gets serious, well we may have to devise a system to keep it civil. If you write, bring a writing. If you poem, bring a poem. If you are funny, be funny. If you sing, by all means - sing! And if you know any funny thinkers, or thoughtful drinkers, bring them along.
