No Kings Columbia MO Power Belongs to the People
Details
The national Sierra Club is co-sponsoring No Kings 3.
No One is Above the Law -- Not Even the President.
Yet Trump and his power-hungry allies have increased attacks on our democracy and communities. They've stripped protections for our climate, air, and water. It's overwhelming, but it's also inspiring more and more people to take action. That's why, on March 28, we're urging you and everyone you know who cares about protecting our future to turn out and say No Kings!

We are showing up together again on March 28. We could use a few volunteers to distribute flyers to the crowd. If you can volunteer, please email at sc.midmo.group@gmail.com.
America does not belong to strongmen, greedy billionaires, or those who rule through fear. It belongs to us, the people. We are facing a rogue government that is spending our hard-earned tax dollars on unconstitutional terror both at home and abroad. We are done! It's time to reclaim justice and return the U.S. to the democratic foundation it was built upon.
DIRECTIONS: Show up in solidarity at Boone County Courthouse Plaza by the columns at 8th & Walnut in downtown Columbia! We will have an opportunity for you to connect with activist organizations before speakers start at 11am, so arrive early for a chance to learn where you can plug in. Following the speakers we will take our signs and line up on the sidewalks of Broadway, hopefully filling the blocks from 5th to Hitt Street. We will do this in an orderly fashion, so please pay attention to the instructions upon your arrival and coming from the stage before we change locations. You will be given a color coded card.
PARKING: On-street parking is limited, but there are lots of spots available in the three parking garages that are within two blocks of Courthouse Plaza. Parking in the garages is free on Saturday.
MORE DETAILS:
TOILETS: There are rest rooms available for our use in the Boone Government Center.
VOTING: Please be mindful that early voting will be taking place in the County Commission Chambers. We must leave the way clear for voters to enter and exit the building and no electioneering is allowed within 25 feet of the building entrance (no signs, shirts, hats etc. about voting allowed).
CARING/SHARING: The Mid-Mo Solidarity Network is working with CoMo Mobile Aid to help provide supplies to assist our un-housed neighbors this spring!
