Rural Walk: ButtonOak and Arley
New and scenic off-road route, in the vicinity of the Wyre Forest and River Severn.
Logistics:
Meet: 10:15 for prompt 10:25 start.
Distance: Moderate distance of about 9 miles
Start Point: Earnwood Copse Car Park, Clogs Bank Road (B4194), Button Oak, Bewdley. Nearest buildings are at DY12 3AL (Button Oak), the car park is almost a mile beyond to the west. See map links.
Parking: There are (free) car parks either side of the road.
Terrain: Undulating in places, with forest and riverside
Refreshments: Bring fluids and picnic lunch, also pub stop options after half-distance and at the end.

Safety:
As with any outdoor activity, there is some inherent risk. Whilst we aim to avoid unnecessary risks, participants should take all reasonable precautions themselves. A suitable pace for the walk will be determined by the walk leader, which others must observe by keeping in visible distance, not forging ahead or lagging behind. Those attending are totally responsible for their own safety. You must be comfortable walking the specified distance in order to attend please.

Places are limited, so withdrawing in the last 24 hours is forbidden. Attendances shouldn't be compromised by ghosting (no-shows, late withdrawals, and uncommitted waitlisting) so reliable attendees will take priority at future events.
