Local Walk: Vigo, Blackwell & Withybed Green

Brand new route for us, around peaceful countryside by some pretty North Worcestershire Villages, easily accessed from M5 J4 or M42 J1.

Logistics:
Meet: 10:15 check-in, to start within 10 minutes, or earlier if all visible are ready.
Distance: Around 10 miles
Start Point: Lickey End Recreation Ground, B4096, Alcester Road, B60 1GH about half a mile south of M42 J1. Note, postcode may turn you off the Alcester Road, but don't!
Terrain: Mix of woodland, towpath, meadows and fields, and quiet lanes.
Parking: Free public car park or local roads as available.

Refreshments: Picnic stop, and a good pub stop along the way (not for full meals, as we won't be there long enough).
Bring: Waterproofs & Refreshments & Good walking footwear, and clothing to match the weather.
Guests: Under 16s & dogs (behaved, under control) may attend as guests.

Safety:
As with any outdoor activity, there is some inherent risk. Whilst we aim to avoid unnecessary risks, participants should take all reasonable precautions themselves. A suitable pace for the walk will be determined by the walk leader, which others must observe by keeping in visible distance, not forging ahead or lagging behind. Those attending are totally responsible for their own safety, and must be comfortable walking the specified distance please.

Places are not unlimited, so withdrawing in the last 24 hours is impolite. Attendances shouldn't be compromised by ghosting (no-shows, late withdrawals).
