Hey Critical Thinkers! Do you think all Christians are Bible-thumpin', narrow-way minded, "holier-than thou" nationalists that want to abolish true religious freedom by outlawing all but the "right" kind of Christianity? Nope. many folks are goodhearted souls who have left the church because of the harm they've seen it do to friends and family. Lots of them are still trying to find the place where they might fit in. These EXvangelicals need community just like everyone, and Heather Cronk, founder of "Project 21:12 has a plan to provide community and get them organized. The name "Project 21:12" refers to how Jesus turned over the tables of the money changers who were defiling the temple. We all want to see Christian Nationalism defeated and true religious freedom abound in America. Come hear how Heather is leading the way in the battle against dangerous fundamentalist doctrines.
And, we go out for dinner afterwards!!!

Who would have imagined that the Middle Tennessee Humanists would be doing CHURCH. Well, get ready, because we have been asked to provide much of the content for the Sunday Morning Service at First Unitarian Universalist Church of Nashville (FUUN). Expect some people centered singing, a secular message and a focus on Humanism. I mean! We are all believe in GoOD, so why not? It's not about tribes! It's about values. We are honored to be invited to fill the choir loft and the pulpit while Reverend Charlotte Arsenault takes a little respite from her pastoral duties. Come join the fun at FUUN and see if the secular anointing is upon us. Can I get an "Amen"?
Service is scheduled from 10 to 11 AM with a social hour afterwards.
