TEC presents a "Recycle Roundup" (Service and Participation)

Our friend and CEO of Tennessee Environmental Council (TEC) Jeffrey Barrie (our featured speaker at the May 23rd, 2026 Middle Tennessee Humanists meeting) is spearheading a "Recycle Roundup" where things that would otherwise go to a landfill can be gathered up and delivered to folks who can refurbish, process into new materials, recycle, or downgrade them. This is like a ten commitments two-fer; "Environmentalism" and "Service and Participation" . If we wear our snappy vests we can highlight the goodness that our humanist values hope to reinforce.
