Tempo in the Park

Mother nature didn't cooperate for last weekend's music plans, but fingers crossed for this Saturday!

Per the event's Instagram page:

"TEMPO in the Park: World Music Festival is a free, outdoor, family-friendly celebration of the diverse traditions that have shaped Kingston and the greater Hudson Valley"

This is a full day of music & dance from around the world, including but not limited to Mexican brass, World-Beat garage jazz, Cajun fiddling and much more.

There will be local food vendors on site. Beer, wine and other drinks will be available at the festival as well.

Some of us can meet up together, or folks can just stroll about on their own. We wanted to make sure folks knew about the event.

Should be a chill afternoon.

- The festival starts at noon. But I won't be going until 2. Feel free to check it out whenever you'd like.
