In this session, Scott will provide an overview of his experience of a cloud transformation journey to Azure Landing Zones within the context of a large organization that was already well established within Azure. The talk will have a particular focus on platform engineering, enterprise architecture and operational excellence.

Scott is a Cloud Advocate at Uniper Energy and has worked as an architect and developer in heavy industry sector for many years. He first started using Azure around 10 years ago and has a strong passion for automation and cloud technologies.

In this session, Andy will provide an overview based on his experience of Azure Application Landing Zones on the many benefits they bring. The talk will focus on the benefits ALZ can bring from an RTO/RPO perspective using a consistent security and deployment model together with greater service density which can also bring cost benefits.

Andy Norris is a Principal Solutions Architect at Jumar and has worked as an architect and developer in many industry sectors over 40 years. He first started using Azure around 14 years ago and has specialised in Azure Integration Services and Cloud Native/Hybrid infrastructure.
