What we’re about
The aim of the MAUG is to bring the I.T. community within the Midlands (Birmingham and surrounding areas) together to learn and discuss the Microsoft Azure platform.
The group is community driven delivering the type of content, speakers and experiences that the I.T. community in the above areas want. The group is open to developers, architects, consultants, engineers and enthusiasts.
Participating in MAUG meetups has a number of benefits:
• Learn best practices and optimal use of Microsoft’s Azure platform
• Get answers, advice, tips and suggestions from peers
• Gain insights into what others are doing within Microsoft Azure
• Network with local peers
Code of Conduct
We do not tolerate harassment or bullying of any MAUG community member in any form.
Harassment includes offensive verbal/electronic comments related to personal characteristics or choices, sexual images or comments in public or online spaces, deliberate intimidation, bullying, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks, IRC chats, electronic meetings, physical meetings or other events, inappropriate physical contact, or unwelcome sexual attention. Participants asked to stop any harassing or bullying behaviour are expected to comply immediately.
If a participant engages in harassing behaviour, representatives of the community may take reasonable action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender, expulsion from any MAUG event, or expulsion from mailing lists, IRC chats, discussion boards, and other electronic communications channels to resolve the issue. This may include expulsion from MAUG membership.
If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please act to intercede or ask for help from any organiser of the MAUG, as identified on this page.
