About us
We are a poetry society that meets in the dead of night to share and discuss poetry. Original poems encouraged, but not required. You are encouraged but not required to present anything. Feel free to come and listen and hang out either way.
Why midnight? There's something about the energy of very late night gatherings that matches what I want out of this group. There's a very different kind of "stories around the campfire" energy and artistic community to it that you just don't get during the day. If you don't believe that, try going to one and see for yourself.
Bring anything or nothing. A new poem you wrote. An old poem you wrote. An old poem a dead Italian architect wrote. An excerpt from a book or short story. Share anything you want, and discuss what others brought.
