About us

Welcome to Midweek Mixes!
Join our fun, relaxed weekday gatherings to add creativity and connection to your routine! It’s the perfect mid-week refresh for working adults and retirees alike, without weekend crowds or peak-hour traffic.

Whether you enjoy exploring art galleries, hiking scenic trails, catching a movie, or sipping tea or coffee with new friends, there’s something for everyone. Our events are held Monday through Friday (with a few exceptions), mostly during the day — perfect for locals looking to connect and meet like-minded people.

Midweek Mixes is for friendly, positive, socially engaged people who enjoy getting out, meeting new people, and having good conversations. We keep our gatherings upbeat and welcoming. Please come ready to participate, include others, and give everyone a chance to talk.

Want to Host an Event?
Have an idea for an outing? Host it here for free!
Coffee, museums, walks, restaurants, markets, concerts — pick something you enjoy and invite the group. No experience or big commitment needed, and yes, it’s completely free.

We’d love to see more members step up as hosts so we can enjoy a wider range of events that reflect everyone’s interests. Got an idea? Message Allison S. and let’s make it happen!

A Few Friendly Reminders
We all have stories to share, but let’s keep health updates and life’s troubles brief — we’re a social group, not a medical symposium or group therapy session! 😂

Let’s keep conversations varied and upbeat, and make room for everyone. Politics, religion, and excessive negativity stay at the door — there are plenty of other things to debate, like pineapple on pizza! 🍕🍍

Event hosts are volunteers out of the goodness of their hearts — please be flexible, patient, kind, and respectful. No Crab-Apples, please! 🍏❤️

Group Guidelines
Members are expected to contribute to a positive environment by treating others with consideration and avoiding behavior that is disruptive, dominating, disrespectful, excessively negative, or otherwise interferes with others’ ability to participate fully. This includes monopolizing conversations, interrupting, complaining, ranting, over-sharing, harassing, or attempting to undermine or interfere with group leadership.

Members are expected to exercise good judgment and self-awareness. If a member’s behavior is disruptive or inappropriate enough that organizers have to decide how to address it, the member will be removed from the group rather than being given a warning or discussion. Continued membership is a privilege, and organizers reserve the right to make these decisions at their discretion.

RSVPs & Attendance
Members with three unannounced no-shows will be removed from the group. Please update your RSVP at least two hours before an event if your plans change. 📆

Event Location & Arrival Instructions
Please read the complete event description, including all location, parking, and arrival directions, before heading to an event. Take a screenshot for easy reference, especially where cell service may be limited.
If uncertain about the meeting location, please reread the posted instructions before assuming information is missing or wrong. Preparation and consideration ensure a smooth, enjoyable experience for everyone.

Hearing & Communication
If you use hearing aids or other listening devices, please remember to bring and wear them to our gatherings. We want everyone to feel welcome, included, and able to enjoy conversations without anyone having to strain to hear or repeatedly ask others to speak up. This benefits everyone! ❤️🦻

Participation & Safety
Midweek Mixes is a volunteer-organized social group. Participation in all events is voluntary, and members are responsible for their own actions, personal belongings, and reasonable attention to their own safety.

Participants should assess their ability to take part in each activity and follow applicable safety instructions. Members arrange their own transportation unless otherwise specified.

By attending an event, you acknowledge that some activities may involve ordinary risks, including slips, trips, falls, or other unforeseen circumstances. Please use your own judgment and take appropriate precautions.
