Bicycle Vacation: Cape Cod, Sept 5-12

Details
September 5-12, 2025
One week, or any part of in Cape Cod after the crowds.
see below for shortened itinerary
Bike rides, followed with shared meals either -
potlucks, or restaurants, or a happy hour on the beach.
A bicycle vacation in Cape Cod when the beaches are still warm.
Each day we will embark on a bicycle ride; Some examples: Sea to shining sea trail; Provincelands to Provincetown with a stop at herring cove beach, rail trails through quintessential cape cod towns with stops at beaches, such as Marconi Cove. Some road riding (only on “off the beaten path” with little traffic). Beautiful sunsets at Grays Beach, walk on a 5 mile path through Sandy Neck Beach, an isolated dunes beach... so much, too much to list.
We are staying in West Yarmouth in Barnstable County at the “Cove at Yarmouth”. You can either book through an airbnb (share a house with participants -- you can coordinate amongst yourselves), camp at Nickerson State Park or hotel/motel. We will assemble each day at the bicycle trail and share dinners together, music.
We are lucky to live so close to Cape Cod and be able to enjoy a bounty of beauty within a few hours drive. To me it feels a bit like England in the Summer/Fall. A biker’s paradise.
