"Almost no one in town likes Snakey Bender, a crotchety old man who makes a living through his beloved snakes. This includes loaning them out to satisfy the urges of schoolteacher Ivy, herself the object of desire of Snakey's biggest enemies: shopkeepers Bud and Sis. However, nothing is more important than his Wednesday night get togethers with his best friend, Burt. But when Burt returns from a trip to the city, unexpectedly sporting a pretty new wife, who demands all of his attention, his and Snakey's weekly ritual is put to an end. Betrayed and with vengeance in mind, Snakey begins to lure all those who wronged him up to his secluded farm, for a slithery death...

The only film directed by prolific sound mixer and occasional writer Art Names, FANGS is a slickly produced and darkly humorous horror-thriller, starring Les Tremayne (War of the Worlds), Bruce Kimball (Drive-In Massacre) and Alice Nun (Pee-Wee's Big Adventure) and features one of the few film scores by electronic music pioneer, Suzanne Ciani.
