Join your fellow makers for our very first Makers Day Out! We are heading to the world-renowned Yale University Art Gallery in New Haven for a morning of inspiration, art history, and community.
Whether you are looking for fresh ideas for your next project or simply want to enjoy some of the finest art in the country, this is the perfect opportunity to connect with the Milford Makers crew out and about.
๐ The Schedule
- 11:15 AM: Meet and greet in the Main Lobby. Please arrive on time so we can gather the group before our session begins.
- 11:30 AM: Our Private Guided 1-Hour Tour begins! Weโll explore a selection of works across the permanent collection. The experience is discussion based and encourages visitors to look closely, ask questions, and talk about what they see.
- Post-Tour: You are free to roam! Attendees are welcome to stay and browse the gallery's extensive collections at their own leisure for the rest of the afternoon (gallery closes at 5pm). You can also visit any of the dozens of restaurants and coffee shops located near the Gallery for lunch.

- Street Parking: Metered spaces are available on the streets surrounding the gallery.
- Garage Parking: For a guaranteed spot, we recommend the Chapel-York Garage, conveniently located at 150 York Street.

- Admission: Free!
- Capacity: This event is limited to 15 attendees to ensure an intimate tour experience.
- RSVP: You MUST register via Meetup to secure your spot. If your plans change, please update your RSVP so someone from the waitlist can join us.
- Museum Policy: Any backpacks or large bags that are brought into the Gallery will need to be stored in the lobby or lower-level lockers. No food or drink is allowed.
