What we're building...
Milford Makes is working toward a permanent creative reuse space in Milford - one where donated materials are collected, shared and transformed through hands-on creative experiences. We're starting small on purpose, using pop-up programs and mobile makerspaces to build momentum, learn from the community and shape what comes next.

Open to the public throughout the day. Shop our collection of donated art, craft, fabric, yarn, paper, tools, and other creative materials. Discover something new to make with, stock up on supplies, and see what creative reuse looks like in action.

### Good to know:
- Cash and digital payments through Zeffy are accepted. Digital payments are made by scanning a QR code and paying from your phone.
- All sales are final. Donated materials are sold as-is; please inspect items before purchasing.
- Reusable shopping bags are encouraged!

Create your own colorful paper bug using a variety of donated and reused materials! This free, hands-on workshop is part of the Milford Makes Creative Reuse Pop-Up, where we're transforming the Firehouse Gallery into a Mini Creative Reuse Center + Makerspace for the weekend.

All supplies are provided, and kids can explore creative reuse while making something fun to take home.

Registration is required and space is limited to 15 children. A parent or adult caregiver must remain with participating children.

While you're here, stick around and explore the Creative Reuse Pop-Up Shop, open Saturday from 10 AM–5 PM, with affordable donated art and craft supplies, fabric, yarn, paper, tools, and other creative treasures.

Start with a Milford Makes canvas tote and make it your own!

In this relaxed, hands-on workshop, you’ll have a variety of creative reuse materials and simple techniques to choose from. Add a patch, try some Sashiko-inspired stitching, add fabric scraps, bedazzle it with rhinestones, draw with fabric markers, or combine a few different ideas.

Your workshop registration includes:

Guidance and help from our volunteer facilitator

A fun hour of making with other local creatives

$20 per person or bring a friend for $35

There is limited parking at the Firehouse Gallery. The best parking options are street parking on Naugatuck Avenue, Monroe Street, a short walk away on East Broadway.

* Workshop materials are provided for use during your one-hour session and include a selection of items such as patches, fabric, embroidery floss, fabric markers, paint, rhinestones and Sashiko patterns. Some materials are available in limited quantities (for example, up to 3 patches and 1 Sashiko pattern per participant) so that everyone has an opportunity to choose from the assortment.
