### Craft a souvenir before you head to the beach!

Start your beach day with a little creativity! Join Milford Makes, the Milford Arts Council, and The Giggling Pig for a relaxed summer craft pop-up at the Firehouse Gallery (near Walnut Beach) where you can make a small handmade souvenir before heading out for the day.
This is a drop-in style creative station—no experience needed, no materials to bring, and no pressure to stay the whole time. Just stop by, make something fun, and take it with you.

### What we’ll be making:

We’ll be painting beach stones to create colorful keepsakes inspired by a day at the beach. Whether you make something bright and cheerful, beachy and relaxed, or totally one-of-a-kind, rock painting is an easy, creative activity for both kids and adults.
All materials are provided, and the project is designed to be quick, approachable, and fun for all ages.

### Good to know:

  • Drop-in format
  • Family-friendly and beginner-friendly
  • Supplies available while they last

### Cost:

This is a free community event, made possible by Milford Makes, the Milford Arts Council, and The Giggling Pig of Milford. If you’d like to support future workshops and free programming, an optional $5–$10 donation per family is greatly appreciated.

### RSVP:

RSVPs help us estimate supplies and prep materials. If you’re planning to come, please sign up so we can make sure there’s enough for everyone.

### Why we’re doing this:

Milford Makes is about bringing creativity into everyday life in accessible, welcoming ways. This pop-up is a simple chance to make something with your hands, connect with others, and start a summer day with a little creativity before heading to the beach.
