Photo Walk at Yale and Photo Contest Sponsored by FUJIFILM

The Yale Campus is the stage for our most popular walk: join us as we move thru the old campus, a satellite campus/courtyard, past Sterling Memorial Library and end at the Hewitt Quad and the iconic Beinecke Library. Photogs of all levels and mediums are invited to make frames of the varying surfaces and textures Yale has to offer.

And a first time photo contest for participants! Upload up to 3 of your favorite images from the walk on the meetup event page for a chance to win a Milford Photo gift card of first, second and third place valued at $200, 100 and $50 thanks to our friends at FUJIFILM. Our judges for the contest will be photo authors Rob Lisak and David Ottenstein who've recently published Capitol America: A Photographic Portrait of the Fifty State Capitols.

Awards will be presented at an after hours meet and greet at East Rock Brewery on Thursday November 14th. All participants are invited to come- and consider entering a print for a people's choice award given that evening of another $100 Milford Photo gift card.

The walk costs $12 a person.

We will meet at the Yale Visitor Center at 149 Elm Street, kicking off the photo walk at 11:00 AM.

Details on the people's choice print award and East Rock award after hours will be shared with participants.
