The theme for this picnic will be *** Hawaiian Themed***. If you have a Hawaiian shirt, feel free to wear it. Let's make this fun and colorful.
The 5th Annual LC Friends 50 + picnic -Welcome to A lūʻau will take place on July 19th. Mark your calendars! It will be a great opportunity to come together and get to know each other better while sitting outside and enjoying our great WI summer weather. This past year, we were blessed with great weather, eager grillers, dishes that were brought and shared ( we have amazing bakers in the meetup), and amazing conversations and some connections took place. Hoping for the same great weather again this year.
A couple of things to note:
It will take place at Wirth Park, 2585 N Pilgrim Rd, Shelter Area #6
Feel free to bring your own alcoholic beverage if you choose.
I will bring industrial grills/ charcoal / lighter fluid to get us started. I will have burgers, brats, and hot dogs, condiments, corn, and picnic essentials such as plates, napkins, utensils, cups, and plenty of water.
Bring a dish/dessert to share.
Bring a lawn chair if you want to spread out.
Feel free to bring a swimsuit if you want to break off and use the pool at Wirth Park for a fee(posted in photos).
We will have games such as Frisbee, Volleyball to keep you busy. If you have a yard game that you want to bring, please do so.
