We really do sail – once outside the harbor we hoist the sails, turn off the engine,
and experience the magnificence of pure sailing on Lake Michigan. If interested,
the Captain will be happy to explain the math, physics and other technical aspects
underlying how to sail.
Red Witch II is equipped with all required safety gear. Red Witch II is a very seaworthy vessel. She was specifically designed to safely race on the Pacific Ocean– even in extreme weather. Note that one of her sisterships circumnavigated the globe twice.
