Beer Mile XI and OMG Family Picnic

OMG's Annual Beer Mile/Family Picnic is fast approaching! Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 9th at 4:30pm. We'll again be at Estabrook Park's Soccer Field #1 (on the north edge of the park, along Hampton)

Registration is in person, beginning at 4:30pm, the race begins at 5:30. This is a free, BYOB event (beer should be over 5% ABV to be official). OMG will provide brats, burgers, buns, etc for the cookout but all are invited to bring a dish or dessert to share!

Official Beer Mile Rules are simple - four laps on a 400m track, one 12oz beer per lap. You drink the beer, tip the can/bottle over your head to show it's empty, then run the lap. Official time is kept.

If you can't tackle four beers alone, form a team with two, three, or four runners!
