Rapid Innovation with Node-RED

Node-RED is a visual tool for wiring the Internet of Things. The platform is built on NodeJS, which allows it to be incredibly flexible, and light-weight. At this meet up, you’ll learn how to get an instance running locally, and on an Amazon EC2-Nano instance. We will also get a high level run down of the platforms features, and extensions. Finally, we’ll go over an example of how this tool can be used to rapidly prototype, and build useful integrations for your team. http://www.nodered.org

I’m the type of person that codes for fun… during the day… on weekends. I’ve mainly focused on the Java and JVM stacks, but enjoy learning all types of languages, frameworks, and platforms.
