Kickstart your recovery, gain mobility, and treat your body to the magic of Yin yoga in this 6-week Mind-Body-Bliss relaunch.
Join us for a guided exploration of Yin yoga as a powerful tool for nervous system regulation, fascia health, and deeper self-connection. This series marks a new chapter for our group: a return to recovery, mindfulness, and embodied awareness.
This class meets every other Monday beginning March 16th and concluding May 25th (see full schedule below).
What is Yin Yoga?
Unlike traditional flow classes, Yin is a slower, contemplative form of yoga that targets the subtle body — including myofascial tissue, joints, and ligaments — to promote recovery, pliability, and rest. Poses are held for 2–5+ minutes to create space for breath awareness, deep tissue activation, and gently tending to tight and stiff muscles.
What to expect?
This practice is open to all levels and can benefit beginners, athletes, those with limited mobility, individuals recovering from injury (with medical clearance), and regular practitioners alike. Each week, we will explore a theme specific to yoga traditions and meditation concepts. Guided meditation, thoughtful discussion, and extended savasana when time permits.
Class time is 7:00–8:10 pm. Please allow a few extra minutes afterward for optional discussion and longer rest. Although this is a 6-week series, each class stands on its own. You are welcome to attend any session that fits your schedule.
What to bring ?
Yoga mat, water, layers, any supportive props such as a blanket, bolster, firm pillow, or towel.
This is a donation-based class. No minimum, with a suggested donation of $10–15 per class. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds. Donations may be made before or after class via cash, Square, Venmo, Cash App, or PayPal.
