About us
Mind Over Miles: A Running & Recovery Community
Welcome to Mind Over Miles, a donation-based running and wellness community hosted on our private 40-acre ranch.
I’m an ultramarathon runner, master fitness trainer, educator, and 100-mile finisher who has spent much of my life navigating anxiety, depression, and the unique challenges of being on the autism spectrum. Running has been one of the most powerful tools in my own journey toward resilience, mental wellness, and personal growth.
This group was created for people who are seeking healthy ways to support their mental health, maintain sobriety, build positive habits, and connect with others through movement and nature.
Whether you’re in recovery, working to stay sober, managing stress, struggling with anxiety or depression, or simply looking for a supportive community, you’re welcome here.

Our Mission
We believe movement can be medicine. Through running, walking, fresh air, and community, we aim to create a space where people can strengthen both body and mind while building meaningful connections.
Donation-Based Participation
This is a donation-based group. Contributions help maintain the property, trails, and group activities while supporting the time and resources needed to host these events.
Important Note
This group is not professional counseling, therapy, addiction treatment, or medical care. It is a peer-support fitness and wellness community centered around running, movement, encouragement, and connection.
