Practice and learn the first four exercises of the Baduan Jin or 8 pieces of brocade qigong form.

What's in it for me
- Regulate your body, breath, mind and energy through the practice
- Learn a system taught for improving general health and release tension and stress
- Develop a self practice after a number of sessions
- Feel good, energized and grounded after this session

What we'll do: We will move our bodies, wake up and absorb a good amount of fresh oxygen in. Through health qigong, breathing exercises and mobility, we'll focus on enhancing various physical aspects such as back health, the well-being of internal organs, and joint mobility and flexibility, while also gaining cardiovascular benefits.

What do I need:

  • Comfortable, stretchy clothing
  • A yoga mat, or a rug to avoid slipping
  • A laptop or larger monitor and good sound to hear the instructions

The practice: This practice is accessible and easy to follow for those with healthy bodies. If you have any physical limitations or injuries, please inform me in advance so I can adjust the exercises accordingly. As a certified Health, Wellness, and Fitness coach with extensive knowledge in human anatomy—specifically spine health—I'm here to ensure a safe and beneficial practice for everyone.

Cost: This is a free event. Donations are welcomed.

Post-practice socializing: If time and interest permit, we'll stay and chat at the end of the class for 10-15 minutes
