## About the Program
This session invites participants to explore how mindfulness and compassionate presence can support us in navigating the heightened emotions, expectations, and relational dynamics that often arise during the holiday season. The program will include a brief talk and discussion as well as guided sitting and gentle movement meditations to help participants remain grounded, connected, and responsive during times of stress and overwhelm.
Learn how tending to your nervous system, strengthening attentional awareness, and listening to the wisdom of the body can help you move through family gatherings, difficult conversations, grief, loneliness, overgiving, and holiday pressure with greater clarity and care. Participants will explore practical mindfulness-based tools for setting healthy boundaries, honoring emotional needs, and staying connected to what matters most without abandoning themselves in the process.
Dr. Cynthia Garner is a somatic therapist and boundary-setting coach who works with educators, mental health professionals, caregivers, and survivors of relational violence.
