Janine has always been drawn to the esoteric, to mysticism, mediumship, and the spaces where the seen and unseen seem to meet. Tarot is one of the ways she explores that world, not as a traditional tarot reader or fortune teller, but as a tool for reflection and self discovery. Over time, this fascination has found its way into her creative work through the design of her own tarot, numerology and house decks.

Here's what you can expect: It begins with a personal card reading. You pull a card. Janine sits with you and interprets it — not as fortune-telling, but as a mirror. So often, the message underneath is something we already knew and didn't let ourselves hear: rest without guilt, a pause you've been denying yourself, a kind of power you've been sitting on. We rarely give ourselves permission to go looking for that. This is an afternoon built around finally doing it.

Once your card is read, you don't just talk about it — you paint it. Whatever the reading stirred up becomes something on canvas, in your own hands, no art skill required. By the end, you're not walking away with notes or a nice memory — you're walking away with something physical you made for yourself, a reminder sitting on your wall of what you uncovered that afternoon.

It happens in a beautiful little cafe, tea included, on a slow Sunday afternoon. You'll leave having made friends over something real because that's just what happens when a room of women sit with honesty instead of small talk.
