I’ll be sharing my work and data collection on Polyvagal-Informed Embodied Mindfulness™ (PIEM™)—an eight-week protocol that centers physiological state as the primary field of awareness. This approach recruits stability from the environment and highlights autonomic flexibility, building participants’ capacity to companion present-moment awareness with acceptance.
At its core is the practice of dual awareness—holding a sense of embodied stability while staying with what is being experienced. By working with the nervous system as it is, this approach can be especially supportive for those navigating high levels of stress or adversity.
