This is a group dedicated to coming together as a community (sangha) to meditate together and be inspired to practice mindfulness in our daily lives. We follow the teachings and practice of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh. We welcome folks from all walks of life and all levels of experience with meditation. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and there will by opportunity for discussion.

Mindfulness Practice Community of Vancouver meetings alternates between in-person practice on the 2nd Sunday of each month, and virtual online practice on the 4th Sunday of each month. For the summer, our in person gatherings on the 2nd Sundays will be outdoors, weather permitting. If weather does not permit, we will meet online instead. Please check our homepage on the day of the gathering at mindfulnessvancouver.orgfor updates. Any updates or changes in plans will be posted by 10am the day of the gathering.
Our next gathering is July 13. (June 22 is cancelled).- Location: Beaconsfield Park, 3215 Slocan St, Vancouver, BC V5M 3E4
- We meet near the geographical center of the park, between the gravel field below and grassy field above, and just southwest of the community garden. There is a flat area of grass with shade from large nearby trees.
