About this event:
Walking while Noticing
At this event, we will discuss self-as-context. This is a technique where we learn how to observe ourselves. We observe our thoughts, our feelings, our body sensations, and our senses. This technique allows us a deeper understanding of our reactions and struggles and offers us a means to heal. We will learn about the concept, then practice it through a mindful hike on Mount Royal. Come join us for a mindful moment on the Mountain!

A $10 donation is appreciated but not required for the event.
You can donate by bringing cash or sending an electronic money transfer to [info@moirestevenson.com](mailto:info@moirestevenson.com).

The Mindful Walking Series:
The mindful walking series is a 5-week series of events where we dive into various aspects of well-being during meditative or reflective walks on Mount Royal. Join for 1 event or all 6, it's up to you! At each event, I will share mindfulness-based therapeutic techniques for coping with complex thoughts, understanding our values, accepting ourselves, and taking action toward what matters to us.

Each event begins with a short explanation of the theme for that day. We then take a short walk together where I highlight how to practice the therapeutic technique we just discussed. Then, you will have time to practice the technique while walking on your own for a few minutes. At the end of the event, we come back together as a group and discuss (or not, it’s up to you) our experiences. There will be chocolate :)
