Winter offers a powerful opportunity to reset—inviting us into stillness, clarity, and resilience. This full-day therapeutic snowshoeing retreat at Mount Orford National Park blends mindful movement, forest bathing, and ecotherapy practices to support both physical vitality and emotional well-being.

Designed as a therapeutic winter immersion and led by clinically trained licensed psychologist Dr. Moire Stevenson, this retreat encourages you to slow down, breathe deeply, and connect with nature as a source of grounding and renewal.

Throughout the day, you'll have the opportunity to:
Practice mindfulness outdoors through guided meditation and winter forest bathing
Use snowshoeing as a metaphor for resilience, balance, and facing life's challenges
Engage in ecotherapy practices designed to reduce stress, increase focus, and deepen your connection with the natural world

We will walk together along forest paths. If you prefer not to snowshoe, you are welcome to hike with us, keeping in mind that depending on snow conditions, some sections may be challenging without snowshoes.

A small lunch will be provided.

If the event ticket price feels out of reach, please email us at [info@moirestevenson.com](mailto:info@moirestevenson.com)—we'll be happy to explore options.

What to expect:
We will meet at the Le Cerisier service centre, where snowshoes can be rented if needed.

Our pace throughout the day will be mindful and unhurried. You can expect guided sensory awareness, reflective pauses, winter forest bathing invitations, and nature-based mindfulness woven throughout the experience. This retreat is not about speed or distance—it's about presence, connection, and gentle therapeutic support.

This retreat is suitable for beginners, those seeking emotional restoration, and anyone who wants to experience winter in a calmer, more mindful way.
