ABOUT THIS EVENT
Instead of hiding away this winter and trying to get through it, what if we found ways to embrace the season and appreciate its unique offerings? Research shows that even small amounts of time outdoors during the winter supports cognitive, emotional, and physical well-being. Time in nature has been linked to benefits such as improved mood and focus, reduced feelings of isolation and anxiety, lower stress hormones, and enhanced immune system function—and not to mention, it can be genuinely enjoyable.

That said, winter can feel daunting. Cold temperatures, low energy, and busy schedules can make getting out the door surprisingly difficult—even when we know its good for us.

That's why we're offering a free live webinar, led by licensed clinical psychologist, Dr. Moire Stevenson, focused on the how of getting outside this winter—without pressure, perfection, or all-or-nothing thinking. Together, we'll explore practical, realistic ways to spend outdoors and how these small, consistent moments can support not only winter well-being, but healthy habit-building more broadly.

Through gentle mindset shifts, accessible real-life examples, therapeutic and mindful approaches, and a simple 15-minutes-a-day challenge, this webinar invites you to create a winter that feels nourishing, connected, and even magical—rather than something to endure.

In the meantime, be sure to follow Dr. Stevensons 30-Day Outside Challenge on our Mindfulness Outdoors Instagram page, where she finds creative and realistic ways to get outside for at least 15-minutes a day—get inspired!
