MindHub x Founder: From employee to founder - when, what holds us back?

Hi, my name is Benedikt. I organize MindHub events in Munich, Germany. I’m currently visiting Singapore and spontaneously decided to bring MindHub here and host a small meetup while I’m in town. I’m curious to learn how entrepreneurship and building projects might feel different in Singapore compared to Germany, and I’m looking forward to meeting you.

MindHub is a global community-driven meetup for people interested in entrepreneurship, design, technology, and building things together.
This is not a talk, not a panel, and not a pitch event.
It’s a Focused Session centered around real conversations, shared experiences, and peer learning.
Theme of this edition:
👉 From employee to founder: when is the right time — and what holds us back (consciously or unconsciously)?
We’ll explore questions like:

• How do we know when we’re “ready enough” — or does that moment ever really exist?
• Which fears, doubts, or external factors slow us down the most?
• Which risks are real, and which ones mostly live in our heads?

Whether you’re:

• currently employed but thinking about starting something
• already working on a side project
• in the middle of a transition
• or have made the jump before

How the session works
We’ll keep things simple and human:
🔹 Part 1 – Themed Group Discussion
A lightly structured exchange around the topic, grounded in personal experiences rather than theory.
🔹 Part 2 – Open Conversation & Connection
More free-flowing discussion, peer exchange, and informal networking around the table.
No slides. No lectures. No pressure to perform.
What this space is for

• Sharing real challenges (not just polished success stories)
• Exchanging practical insights, experiences, and perspectives

Listening is just as welcome as sharing.
Who this is for
Anyone interested in ideas, projects, and personal or professional growth —
